Description

A cropped image of the left portion of a two page spread, featuring the first storm scene in Pericles. Pericles stands aboard a rocking deck, shouting his lines at a vengeful Poseidon. Simon Brett engraved this woodcut. The type-setting and design was performed by Crispin Elsted and seeks to reflect the intonations of the Gower's (the narrator's) oral address. The paper is Zerkal paper.
